Perfect for walking to Chicago's top attractions and parks
This hotel is awesome for anyone who loves to explore on foot, with attractions like the Chicago Riverwalk just a short 500 meters away, and Millennium Park and Buckingham Fountain both less than 2 km from the front door, making it super easy to get out and enjoy the city; the hotel was clean and comfy with a great breakfast selection including gluten-free options. it would be nice if their 24/7 food service was actually available all the time.

I was really let down by the room cleanliness and service. We had to ask multiple times for housekeeping, and despite promising daily cleaning, only once did they actually clean our space.

The breakfast was warm with free wifi and replenished periodically, and the lobby bar was a plus. The location of the property was unbeatable as we were just next door to the theater, restaurants and the Chicago French Market, Magnificent Mile and theater district and shopping and metra.

Hotel is secured, I loved great staff and location. Comfortable bed, huge bathroom and central heating, a safe box and a writing desk in the room. Set close to downtown, all major sightseeing spots, restaurants in the business area.

Despite some drawbacks, our room was clean and spacious. The hotel's central location allowed easy access to various activities. The breakfast, when available, was delicious and the staff was friendly.
The hotel lacked good artwork in the rooms, with odd and unappealing decor choices. Some rooms had no views due to neighboring buildings, and the breakfast area was poorly maintained, with dirty utensils and a lack of basic items.

Great location near restaurants and attractions, with friendly staff making the experience pleasant. The room was clean and spacious, and the breakfast had fantastic gluten-free options, which was a nice surprise. the pool was smaller than expected, and I had issues with the kitchen being closed by 9 PM when I wanted to order food. Housekeeping could improve, as I experienced inconsistent service. Despite these hiccups, the convenience and atmosphere made for an enjoyable trip. Would consider returning, but hoping for better service next time.

Hyatt Place Chicago/Downtown offers a fantastic location near Union Station, making it easy to explore the city. The room was spacious and comfortable, and I especially appreciated the option to order food delivery. The modern shower design added a unique touch to the stay.
